TRAVEL GROUPS
Travelling with such a large group makes for AMAZING fun. It is unlike any other social activity you have experienced. The large group does mean that we need to split into smaller groups when travelling on buses and planes. We have created the following groups based on many factors, including the friendship group survey you completed in the previous newsletter. We have kept room groups together where possible. Creating these groups was a huge undertaking as there were many things for us to consider. While you may not be with all of your friends on the travel days, our priority has been to ensure you are always with your chaperone. Please let us know if we have not paired a student and their chaperone in the same group.
FLIGHT SCHEDULE
You will observe that each flight schedule is slightly different. There are positives and negatives to each group schedule which we believe balance out overall. For example: some groups will have to get up ultra early for a flight but it means they get more time at the destination. Some flights have a short layover which means moving quickly through the airport, while others have a longer layover to wait for their next flight. The groups and schedules have been established with great care considering the people you identified as your friends.
HEADSHOTS
We ask that every tour member (student/ chaperone/ sibling) upload a headshot photo via the portal. This is used in our souvenir tour handbook and helps our team learn everyone's name.
NB - Parents, feel free to do what Daniel does and use a photo from 10 years ago.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Please complete the 'Dietary Requirements' section for each tour members in the Documentation section of your portal. NOTE: When the airline tickets are issued, international passengers that have dietary requirements will be reminded to request their own special meals for the flights via the airlines. This will probably happen around November.
T-SHIRT SIZE
Please update your T-Shirt size in the portal.
