Tired of using group touring travel agencies that did a lousy job with no real passion, Daniel Stoddart, the founder of youth acting academy Hunter Drama (Newcastle, Australia), took matters into his own hands. Daniel, then Artistic Director of Hunter Drama, wanted to create an unforgettable experience for his students and to thrust them onto the world stage. He enlisted his buddy Shane Bransdon (School Principal and part time actor/director) to help run this adventure.

 

Being natural performers, with many years of teaching experience under their belt, allowed them to create innovative international learning experiences. Both Daniel and Shane became passionate (borderline crazy) about inspiring young people to realise their dreams in the entertainment industry and have built a team of “Gang members” who all have the same passion for travel, learning, and above all, performing. From high volume large groups to complex multi-destination itineraries, our success has been driven by industry knowledge, dynamic itineraries, unique opportunities, accountability, innovation, and most of all, our genuine love for what we do.

 

Many local and international performing arts groups are now turning to Travel Gang to manage their travel programs. Today our hard earned reputation is the result of us caring about building strong and rewarding relationships with our schools and ensuring they are given access to world class international  opportunities to learn, grow and be inspired.
